Edward became a STAR student in 2000. He attended Our Lady of Victory through the 8th grade. He received multiple awards and was an outstanding honors graduate. He received a substantial scholarship to Fort Worth Country Day and excelled there academically as well.
Edward then went on to college at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri and graduated May of 2014 with a degree in International and Area Studies and a minor in Spanish. During one of his summers while attending Wash U, he spent 8 weeks abroad in Shanghai studying Mandarin Chinese. Edward speaks English, Spanish, Chinese & American Sign Language. He is now working as an interpreter at Casa de Salud, a free clinic for minorities in Saint Louis. Additionally he is looking to apply to the Peace Corps as well as AmeriCorps.
