“In the STAR Sponsorship Program I’ve learned many things. The first thing that I’ve learned is that there is always someone out there to help me. Without that help, my life would be very different. There is always going to be a person helping, and among many of them will be people like you. This program has helped push me to try to do the best I can in school.

The STAR Sponsorship Program is a great boost for a child. The last thing that I have learned in the STAR Program is self-discipline and self-respect. The help from this program has helped push me to become more independent. I have learned that my mistakes are the most important lessons of my life.”

Amy graduated from St. George Catholic School in 2009 and from Nolan Catholic High School in 2013. She is currently studying Biology at the University of North Texas.
